CYBERSECURITY LEADERSHIP Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors is compromised of a veteran team of information security experts who are devoted to contributing to the greater good of Tampa Bay and the community at large by volunteering their time to take actions through Tampa Bay's ISSA chapter towards this goal. The Board is elected by the membership, and assiduously oversees the operations of the chapter. It is comprised of different positions with specific roles and responsibilities. With representation from some of the largest cybersecurity companies powering 40% of the Fortune 100, medical manufacturing and healthcare portfolio companies, and information technology recruiting and staffing, leveraging our diverse experience we are committed to fulfilling our members' needs.

Jeff Foresman is the President of Services at Quadrant Information Security. He has 30 years of experience assisting organizations in building successful security programs and responding to cyberattacks. Previously, he held key leadership positions with Rapid7, Optiv, Verizon Business, and the PCI Security Standards Council. Jeff is also a founder of Pondurance, a startup security consulting and managed services business. He has extensive experience developing risk management programs and building security operations centers for major corporations, retailers, hospitals, and financial services organizations.

Vice President
Maja Bobic is a cybersecurity executive with over 18 years of experience partnering with executive leadership to design and advance enterprise security strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance programs. CISSP, CISA, and HITRUST CCSFP/CHQP certified, she is known for translating complex cybersecurity and compliance requirements into actionable, risk-based solutions that safeguard critical assets and enhance organizational resilience. Her work reflects a strong commitment to security leadership, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
She servers as an Advisory Board Member for ElevateIT and as Co-Moderator for the Association of Channel Women Tampa Bay Chapter. Additionally, she is an active member of InfraGard, ISACA, and ISC2, where she supports the growth of cybersecurity professionals and the broader security ecosystem.

Jon is an award-winning Channel sales leader with 10+ years of experience in IT distribution and the vendor cybersecurity space. Jon is a relationship builder and people connecter with extensive knowledge in building go-to-market strategies and understanding what resonates with sales and security leaders. Jon resides in Clearwater, FL where he is a proud girl dad to his 6-year-old daughter Leilani and loves local sports and travel. When on the clock he can typically be found in the field planning and executing meetings and events and driving the sales motion.

Matt Schwope, Sr CyberSecurity Recruiter at HireVergence, began his career in the cyber security industry in 2015. His first foray into IT (2005) was a Break/Fix for SMB's in the Tampa area. Matt's formal technical education is from the University of Florida where he studied Industrial Engineering and minor studies in Mathematics and Economics. In addition to staffing the CyberSecurity industry nationwide, Matt serves on the board of the ISSA Tampa Bay Chapter and mentors security students at the University of South Florida's CyberFlorida program.

Matthew Geary is employed as Senior Director of Information Technology and Information Security at BioDerm Inc., a healthcare portfolio company that designs and manufactures innovative and compassionate medical devices in Pinellas County, FL, and distributes durable medical equipment through a network of distributors, some wholly-owned, into hospitals, clinics, and patient homes. His tenure at BioDerm Inc. has built a first-rate information technology department impacting business growth, revenue, reducing expenses, and managing business risk in a highly regulated industries. Geary's skillset covers a diverse spectrum of information technology spanning across telecommunications, cloud infrastructure architecture, systems administration, enterprise resource planning systems, customer relationship management systems, software development, data analytics, website design, and people leadership. He is certified with a CISSP, CISA, CRISC, and has expertise in creating and managing SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and TCPA compliance programs.
As the Director of Web Development for Tampa Bay ISSA, he is responsible for the administrative and technical management of the website and email system.
