CYBERSECURITY LEADERSHIP Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors is compromised of a veteran team of information security experts who are devoted to contributing to the greater good of Tampa Bay and the community at large by volunteering their time to take actions through Tampa Bay's ISSA chapter towards this goal. The Board is elected by the membership, and assiduously oversees the operations of the chapter. It is comprised of different positions with specific roles and responsibilities. With representation from some of the largest cybersecurity companies powering 40% of the Fortune 100, medical manufacturing and healthcare portfolio companies, and information technology recruiting and staffing, leveraging our diverse experience we are committed to fulfilling our members' needs.

Geary is responsible for the administrative and technical management of the website and email system for the board. He is employed as Director of Information Technology at BioDerm Inc., a healthcare portfolio company that creates innovative and compassionate medical devices, manufactures medical products in Pinellas County, FL, and distributes durable medical equipment through a network of distributors, some wholly-owned, into hospitals, clinics, and patient homes. His tenure at BioDerm Inc. has built a first-rate information technology department significantly impacting revenue, expenses, and reducing business risk. Geary's skillset covers a diverse spectrum of information technology spanning across telecommunications, cloud infrastructure architecture, systems administration, enterprise resource planning systems, customer relationship management systems, software development, data analytics, website design, and people leadership. Geary is certified with a CISSP and ITILv4, and has a expertise in HIPAA Compliance, PCI-DSS Compliance, and TCPA compliance. Joining the board, he is thrilled to help plan great events, spread information security awareness, and continue to make this chapter thrive and meet your professional needs.

Maja Bobic is a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Security Compliance Associates. Security Compliance Associates delivers world-class cybersecurity assessment and advisory services to help organizations identify, reduce, and manage risks to their assets, reputation, and revenue. In her role as a CISO she leads a team of cybersecurity consultants and advisors that perform cybersecurity audits and advisory services for multi-billion-dollar financial institutions, State Government Agencies, large healthcare operations and many other organizations where cybersecurity is mission critical.
Maja is also involved in her local community and is an active member of InfraGard which is a national partnership between the FBI and the private sector for the protection of U. S. Critical Infrastructure. Maja is the only female senior leader in her organization and with over 15 years of corporate leadership experience, she brings diversity of thought and real-world expertise by leveraging people, technology, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Jon is an award-winning Channel sales leader with 10+ years of experience in IT distribution and the vendor cybersecurity space. Jon is a relationship builder and people connecter with extensive knowledge in building go-to-market strategies and understanding what resonates with sales and security leaders. Jon resides in Clearwater, FL where he is a proud girl dad to his 6-year-old daughter Leilani and loves local sports and travel. When on the clock he can typically be found in the field planning and executing meetings and events and driving the sales motion.

Jeff Foresman is the President of Services at Quadrant Information Security. He has 30 years of experience assisting organizations in building successful security programs and responding to cyberattacks. Previously, he held key leadership positions with Rapid7, Optiv, Verizon Business, and the PCI Security Standards Council. Jeff is also a founder of Pondurance, a startup security consulting and managed services business. He has extensive experience developing risk management programs and building security operations centers for major corporations, retailers, hospitals, and financial services organizations.

Matt Schwope, Sr CyberSecurity Recruiter at HireVergence, began his career in the cyber security industry in 2015. His first foray into IT (2005) was a Break/Fix for SMB's in the Tampa area. Matt's formal technical education is from the University of Florida where he studied Industrial Engineering and minor studies in Mathematics and Economics. In addition to staffing the CyberSecurity industry nationwide, Matt serves on the board of the ISSA Tampa Bay Chapter and mentors security students at the University of South Florida's CyberFlorida program.
